FAQ

Channels — frequently asked questions

What is the difference between RCS and SMS?

RCS delivers branded, rich, app-like messaging inside the native inbox, while SMS is global A2P text on direct, monitored carrier routes. 9otify typically sends RCS where the handset supports it and falls back to SMS everywhere else.

Does 9otify support the official WhatsApp Business API?

Yes. Two-way conversations run on the official WhatsApp Business API.

Can 9otify send voice OTPs?

Yes. Voice covers OTPs, alerts and outbound call flows with retries — commonly used as a fallback when an SMS OTP cannot be delivered.
